Falls Church Market To Celebrate Farmers Market Week
The Falls Church market and other farmers markets will participate in National Farmers Market Week from Aug. 7 to 13.

FALLS CHURCH, VA — The Falls Church Farmers Market will be part of National Farmers Market Week, which runs from Aug. 7 to 13.
Since the year-round Falls Church market runs on Saturdays, the National Farmers Market Week activities will be held on Saturday, Aug. 13. Plans will include special pop-up vendors, musical performances, children's activities, prizes, giveaways and market raffles.
National Farmers Market Week celebrates the contributions of farmers markets in communities and support for local farmers. The Falls Church Farmers Market is a city-run market that runs all year on Saturdays. Vendors will vary by season, but the market sees a peak around 50 vendors during peak season.

The Falls Church Farmers Market, an award-winning farmers market, is located in the City Hall parking lot at 300 Park Avenue, Falls Church, VA. Hours are 8 a.m. to noon from April to December and 9 a.m. to noon January to March.
Other nearby National Farmers Market Week activities will take place at the Fairfax County Park Authority's 10 markets and dozens of FRESHFARM markets around Virginia, DC and Maryland, including at the Mosaic District. The NOVA Central Farm Market is also located just outside the city at Marshall High School, 7731 Leesburg Pike, Falls Church, VA on Sundays.
