Falls Church Men Caught In Crafty Shoplifting Scheme: Police

Police say the shoplifters placed merchandise to the door so they could quickly run out.

TYSONS, VA—Three Falls Church men are facing charges after a shoplifting scene at Tysons Corner Center, Fairfax County Police say.

Around 4:12 p.m., police received a report of men placing merchandise by the door to steal at Macy's. Officers arrived to find the men running out with the stolen items.

After a brief foot pursuit, police caught the men. Derlin Carcamo Alvarez, 21, Jorge Melendez Gonzalez, 20, and Wilson Mondrago Ochoa, 23, were charged with grand larceny.
