Falls Church Officer Charged For Crimes Against Children

The officer faces 10 counts of internet crimes against children.

FALLS CHURCH, VA—An officer from the Falls Church Police Department is facing charges for crimes against children, the city announced.

The FBI arrested Robert MacSeain, 29, of Fairfax Wednesday. He faces 10 counts of internet crimes against children.

The police department is conducting an internal investigation and will suspend MacSeain pending the results. His police authority, equipment, and access have been revoked.

MacSeain joined the department as a dispatcher in 2011 and became an officer in January 2017. Since then he has worked the midnight shift for the police department.

The Falls Church Police Department is cooperating with the FBI’s investigation. Police are not making additional comments at this time.
