Event takes place Saturday, Oct. 11 and will feature music, pony rides, hay rides, cider pressing and more.

The City of Falls Church Recreation and Parks Department is sponsoring the 22nd Annual Farm Day on Saturday, Oct. 11, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Cherry Hill Park (312 Park Ave.).

Here’s what is on tap: Enjoy old-fashioned fun for the whole family, including: horse-drawn hayrides, pumpkin painting, blacksmithing, cider pressing from locally grown apples, pony rides and much more. Enjoy live music from Andrew Acosta and The New Old-Time String Band. Participants who bring their own pair of pants and a long-sleeved shirt will be able to craft a scarecrow.

Free tours of the 1845 Cherry Hill Farmhouse will be offered throughout the day.

Admission is free, however nominal fees apply to some activities.
