Falls Church Restaurant to Host 'Made in Virginia' Meet the Maker Event
On Wednesday, 2941 Restaurant hosting special evening showcasing spirits from Catoctin Creek Distillery of Loudoun County.

Executive Chef Bertrand Chemel and team at 2941 Restaurant, 2941 Fairview Park Drive in Falls Church, will host Scott Harris of award-winning Catoctin Creek Distillery at their ‘Made in Virginia’ Meet the Maker event on Wednesday.
The event takes place from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Priced at $45 per person, attendees will have the opportunity to personally meet and chat with Harris, and enjoy a private neat tasting featuring some of Catoctin Creek Distillery’s signature spirits including Roundstone Rye, Watershed Gin and Mosby’s Spirit, to highlight a few. Harris will also share the history of the five-year-old Virginia-based distillery and details on the art of making kosher and organic handcrafted spirits.
In addition, 2941’s resident Beverage Director Jonathan Schuyler will prepare and offer cocktail connoisseurs a special cocktail flight tasting showcasing Catoctin Creek Distillery spirits. Throughout the evening, guests will also enjoy an assortment of sweet and savory small bites prepared by Executive Chef Bertrand Chemel and Pastry Chef Caitlin Dysart. Following the event, guests will be sent home with special takeaway treats from both 2941 and Catoctin Creek Distillery.
