Falls Church Restaurant Inspections: Mouse Droppings On Floor

FALLS CHURCH, VA — Fairfax County regularly conducts health inspections for City of Falls Church and county restaurants. The frequency of inspections on the type of food served and how it is prepared.

“In our experience, it is unrealistic to expect that a complex, full-service food operation can routinely avoid any violations,” states the Virginia Department of Health’s website.

Here are some of the violations from recent Falls Church inspections. Among the violations were mouse droppings around the facility at Saigon Bakery and Deli. According to health inspectors, the restaurant is taking steps to install stainless steel on all walls, replace ceiling tiles and fill holes in the wall. The restaurant has pest control one to two times per month, and inspectors recommended increasing the frequency.
