Falls Church School District Among Leaders In SOL Test Scores
Falls Church City Schools is among the statewide leaders for all subjects in the Standards of Learning Test.

FALLS CHURCH, VA—New Standards of Learning Test results show the City of Falls Church among the leaders of Virginia school districts for the pass rate. The Virginia Department of Education released the results for the public school standardized test this week.
Falls Church leads the state in reading with a 93 percent pass rate, followed by Arlington and Loudoun Counties with 87 percent. In math, the school system had an 88 percent pass rate, followed by Arlington County at 86 percent. The city tied with Loudoun County for science (89 percent) and led the state in social studies with 96 percent.
The Little City's school system improved in almost all subjects as well. Falls Church has also seen steady improvements among black and English language learner (ELL) students over the last year.
