Famille Cafe Opens Doors In Falls Church
The cafe serves coffee, tea, and food items while offering event space for creative programming.
FALLS CHURCH, VA—Famille, a cafe by day and event space for art programming by night, has opened at 700A West Broad Street, Falls Church next to The Kensington. The first day of business was Wednesday, Aug. 8.
The cafe serves breakfast and lunch from 6:30 a.m.-3 p.m. The offerings range from pastries, breakfast sandwiches and coffee to soups, sandwiches and salads. Beginning in the fall, Famille will offer catering with a customizable menu for its after-hours events.
Named after the French word for family, the cafe aims to be "place where neighbors and friends can come together to eat, drink, and gather," according to its website. The business is partnering with Falls Church Arts to display art in the space.

Patrons can also reserve an 1,800-square-foot event space for wedding receptions, birthdays and other occasions, as well as ongoing events for community groups. The space can hold 75 people seated or 116 standing.
A grand opening is set for Saturday, Sep. 22 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. The public is invited to attend.
