FBI Releases Photo of Bicycle-Riding Bank Robber Suspect
Suspect robbed Falls Church bank in August. FBI is offering a $5,000 award for information about the suspect.

The FBI has released photos of a a man who robbed a Falls Church area bank back in August and made his getaway on a bicycle.
At approximately 11:25 a.m., on Tuesday, Aug. 5, an unknown individual entered the United Bank, located at 7787 Leesburg Pike, Falls Church, threatened that he had a weapon and demanded money. The individual was described as a black male with a dreadlocks hairstyle. He wore jeans and a shirt with horizontal gray-blue colored stripes.
After receiving an undisclosed sum of money, the individual fled the bank on a bicycle.

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to the identification, arrest, and conviction of this bank robber.
The FBI’s Washington Field Office and the Fairfax County, Virginia, Police Department are investigating this bank robbery and request that anyone with information call the FBI at 202-278-2000 or report information to Fairfax County Police at 703-691-2131.
