Fire Breaks Out In Carport Of Lake Barcroft Area Home
The residents were reported safely out of the home when the fire happened early Tuesday.
LAKE BARCROFT, VA—Fairfax County Fire and Rescue says a carport was on fire in a Lake Barcroft area home early Tuesday.
Around 1:10 a.m., Fairfax and Arlington County units responded to a home in the 6400 block of Queen Anne Terrace. Firefighters found the blaze in the carport with some extension into the home. The residents were safely out of the home.
Most of the damages inside the home appeared to be smoke related, Captain Dave Weand said in a video update. There was no initial damage estimate.
