Fly Traps Over Food Prep Area: Falls Church Restaurant Violations

FALLS CHURCH, VA — Fairfax County regularly conducts health inspections for county and City of Falls Church restaurants. The frequency of inspections on the type of food served and how it is prepared.

“In our experience, it is unrealistic to expect that a complex, full-service food operation can routinely avoid any violations,” states the Virginia Department of Health’s website.

Here are some of the violations from recent inspections in early August. Among the violations were fly traps hanging over a food prep area at Edy's Chicken and Steak. This violation was corrected during the inspection.
