FALLS CHURCH, VA — Bolay, a fast-casual restaurant specializing in build-your-own "bols," will have a grand opening for its Falls Church location Thursday. Free food promotions will continue through the grand opening week.

The restaurant is located at the Birch & Broad shopping center at 1208-D W. Broad Street, which completed renovations to its facade last year and introduced new restaurants like Taco Rock and Crumbl Cookies. The shopping center's latest restaurant addition — Bolay — is a fast-casual restaurant founded by Chris and Tim Gannon, the latter of whom started Outback Steakhouse in 1988. According to the restaurant's website, Chris Gannon envisioned Bolay as a lifestyle brand with nutritious offerings.

At Thursday's grand opening, the first 100 guests in line will receive free Bolay for a year. That gives guests one free reglar "bol" entree per month for one year through the BolayGo app. Guests seeking the free promotion are encouraged to arrive between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m., as the restaurant will open at 11 a.m. Find more details about the promotion here.
