Fresh Market Grocery Store Coming to Falls Church

Specialty upscale store is coming to The Reserve at Tinner Hill.

Falls Church will have another grocery store choice starting next year. The Fresh Market, an upscale specialty grocery store, has signed a lease for a new location at the intersection of Tinner Hill Street and South Washington Street, in The Reserve at Tinner Hill.

Lincoln Properties is developing the Reserve at Tinner Hill, which will also feature 224 apartments, 10,500 square feet of commercial space and a 7,000-square-foot plaza. WCS Construction, LLC is building The Reserve at Tinner Hill Apartments.

Designed by KTGY Architects, the five-story 518,409 gross square foot brick, natural stone, metal panel and siding mixed-use building located at South Maple Avenue and Washington Street, will not only provide housing, a grocery story and other retail but will include a three-level, 521-space below-grade parking garage.

The store is expected to open in 2016. Once opened, it will be the company’s 14th store in Virginia.
