Future Solace Outpost Brewery In Falls Church Posts Job

FALLS CHURCH, VA— Solace Outpost, the brewery and food venue taking over Mad Fox Brewing Company's location at 444 West Broad Street in Falls Church, has begun hiring. The restaurant partners behind Solace Outpost are seeking a general manager.

The future venue is described in the job listing as "Solace Outpost Brewery and casual food venue in the heart of Falls Church, VA." It will be run by Loudoun County's Solace Brewing, the restaurant group that owns Blackfinn Ameripub, and H2 Collective, which is behind DC's The Brighton, El Rey, The Brixton, American Ice Company, Chez Billy Sud, Players Club and Crimson and Fairfax's Parc de Ville. A prospective opening date has not been announced.

The general manager will oversee operations of the restaurant, which includes overseeing shifts, as well as financial, payroll and staffing duties. Applicants for the general manager should have at least five years of current management and bar experience, preferably in a high-volume atmosphere. Another desired skill is "a strong passion for beer, hands on experience with creative cocktail innovations and beverage menu development."

The position offers a salary with benefits and opportunities for advancement. Applicants should be available on holidays, weekends and for the day and night shifts.
