FALLS CHURCH, VA — A gas leak at a high school in Fairfax County prompted authorities to evacuate the building on Tuesday.

Shortly before 9:25 a.m., Fairfax County fire crews responded to Justice High School on Peace Valley Lane in Falls Church after an alarm was activated.

When crews arrived, officials said they discovered a gas line leak at the school, prompting authorities to evacuate the building.

Washington Gas crews were called to assist, officials said. As of 11:50 a.m., Fairfax County Fire and Rescue remained on the scene.
