Odor Traced Back To Air Unit At George Mason High School

BREAKING: The Arlington Fire Department is investigating a strong odor in George Mason High School.

George Mason High School was evacuated Thursday morning as firefighters investigated an odor in the building.

Arlington County firefighters responded to the scene for reports of an odor coming from the ventilation system. Units traced the odor back to an air unit.

The Arlington Fire Department determined there is no hazard or signs of a fire. Firefighters are clearing the scene and staff and students are returning to class.
