Grant Award from the Rotary Club of Dunn Loring-Merrifield

Assistance League of Northern Virginia (ALNV) extends heartfelt thanks to the Rotary Club of Dunn Loring-Merrifield for its generous grant award in the amount of $7,000 from the Rotary Advised Funds. The funds will support the primary Operation School Bell® program, Weekend Food for Kids. This critical program provides 1,810 bags of food monthly during the school year to children who are food insecure in six Title I elementary schools in Northern Virginia. The Dunn Loring-Merrifield Rotary has been a strong supporter of the non-profit’s programs at local elementary schools since 2013. ALNV is privileged to receive financial and volunteer support from this service organization that advances goodwill and peace throughout the world.
