Halloween Party! Sol Roots band with special guest Ron Holloway!

On Tuesday October 31 there will be a Funk/ Soul/ Rock/ Blues Halloween Party in Northern Virginia. Many music fans are looking forward to this spooky scary funky booty shakin' good time at the legendary JVs in Falls Church, Virginia. Sol Roots band with special guests including master saxophonist Ron Holloway ( of Gov't Mule, Warren Haynes, Dizzy Gillespie & more), with quite a few other surprise special guests as well.

Sol Roots is a multi instrumentalist and singer who has toured around the world with many musical legends. Sol and his band create a unique blend of energetic rock, deep blues, and raw funk, all delivered with deep soul. Sol Roots band has been on bills with Dumpstaphunk, Soulive, The Wood Brothers, Robert Randolph & Family Band, Booker T Jones, Eric Lindell, Shemekia Copeland and more.

Ron Holloway is one of the busiest tenor saxophonists on today's music scene in any genre! Recently, Ron toured extensively with The Warren Haynes Band, in support of two critically acclaimed releases on the Stax Records label. Holloway is a frequent guest of Gov't Mule, Tedeschi Trucks Band, The Allman Brothers Band, and many others. Over the years, he has been a member of an eclectic roster of groups, including; the Susan Tedeschi Band, the Dizzy Gillespie Quintet, Gil Scott-Heron and Root Boy Slim.
