Hit-And-Run Driver Strikes Pedestrian In Falls Church

Hit-and-runs happen often in Falls Church, but police say a pedestrian was struck recently on Washington Street.

FALLS CHURCH, VA—Hit-and-runs happen just about every week in the City of Falls Church, but it's not as common to see a pedestrian get struck. That was the case this past week.

Police say a brown Toyota sedan hit a pedestrian in the 900 block of South Washington Street Tuesday, Oct. 10 around midnight.

Luckily, the victim appears to be ok, as medics were not needed.

Other notable incidents from the Oct.9-15 crime report include, thefts from yards and unlocked garages continuing in the city:

Larceny – Theft from Building, 300 blk Little Falls St, between 8 AM October 4 and 8 PM Oct 7, three pieces of lawn equipment were taken from an unsecured garage. Investigation continues.

Larceny – Theft from Building, 700 blk E Broad St, resident reported that a sign had been stolen from his yard on Oct. 6.
