Hit-And-Run In Falls Church Injures Pedestrian: Police

City of Falls Church Police are investigating a hit-and-run that injured a pedestrian and damaged parked vehicles.

FALLS CHURCH, VA — City of Falls Church Police are seeking a suspect in a hit-and-run that injured a pedestrian Friday.

Police responded around 12:30 p.m. Friday to a shopping center parking lot in the 1200 block of W. Broad Street. Police believe the suspect stole a vehicle from a shopping center at 3089 Nutley St. in Fairfax County before driving into Falls Church. Police say the driver struck a pedestrian and parked cars at W. Broad and Birch Streets.

The pedestrian had non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect fled on foot and stole a vehicle from another person in the 1200 W. Broad Street shopping center parking lot. Police believe the suspect was involved in a hit-and-run in Arlington County that same day. The vehicle in that case was recovered in Fairfax County.
