I-95 Crash, Seven Corners Crash: AM Traffic In DC, NoVA

On the Roads

As of 7:35 a.m., traffic lights are not properly working on Southeast Boulevard in both directions at 11 Street Southeast in Washington, DC.

As of 7:34 a.m., a disabled vehicle was reported on northbound I-95 about 1.2 miles north of County Road 610 in Stafford County. The northbound right shoulder is closed.

As of 7:33 a.m., a crash was reported on northbound I-95 about 0.6 miles south of Exit 160A/Route 123 in Prince William County. The northbound right shoulder is closed.

As of 7:33 a.m., a disabled vehicle closed the north left shoulder on northbound I-95 at the 166 mile marker in Fairfax County.

As of 7:23 a.m., a disabled vehicle was reported on southbound I-95 at the 168.6 mile marker in Fairfax County. The southbound right shoulder is closed.

As of 7:15 a.m., a crash was reported on Route 7 near Route 50/Seven Corners in Fairfax County. Drivers should use caution in the area.

As of 7:12 a.m., an incident closed the westbound right shoulder on I-66 at mile marker 39.7 in Prince William County.

On the Rails

On the Orange Line, the Minnesota Ave, Deanwood, Cheverly, Landover and New Carrollton remain closed through Labor Day due to a summer platform improvement project. Local and express shuttles are available at Stadium-Armory.

Starting Monday, Virginia Railway Express said the main stairs and ramp are unavailable at Leeland Road station due to maintenance. The work is expected to take two to four weeks. Passengers who need the ramp are encouraged to use an alternate station.

Weather

Mostly cloudy weather is expected with a high near 80 and low around 72 at night. A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms appears after 2 p.m. and again after 8 p.m.
