Kiln & Custard Opens Falls Church Location
The locally-owned dessert business will celebrate with freebies, a custard eating contest and more.

FALLS CHURCH, VA—Falls Church just got a little sweeter with the opening of Kiln & Custard at Lincoln at Tinner Hill, 455 South Maple Avenue. The business will celebrate its grand opening Sunday, April 7 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
As part of the festivities, the first 50 people in line will get a free Krazy Shake. There will also be a frozen custard eating contest, kids pottery painting, pop-up art gallery by Falls Church Arts, a sneak peek performance by Creative Cauldron, meet-and-greet adoption event with Lost Dog Cat & Cat Rescue and a performance by Mason Music. A ribbon cutting ceremony will happen at 1:30 p.m.
"We are so excited to be part of the Falls Church community and have already received a warm welcome from the Little City," said owner Sarah Selvaraj. "It was a honor to be able to include the local artists and businesses in our celebration."

Kiln & Custard is a part custard bar, part kids activity center. The custard is made fresh in-house with no food dyes, artificial flavoring or harmful preservatives. Instead, the custards are colored with natural items like spinach, pureed beets and tomatoes. Other menu offerings include custom cakes, ice-cream catering, sundae bars and Krazy Shakes. On the entertainment side, the business has pottery, art classes, camps and party packages.
The Falls Church location is Kiln & Custard's third. Other locations are in Vienna and Reston.
