Little City Gift Card Bonus Incentive Ending After January
The Little City Gift Card, which can be spent at participating Falls Church businesses, will end its bonus gift cards with purchases.

FALLS CHURCH, VA — If you want the bonus gift card that comes with purchasing the Little City Gift Card in Falls Church, get it before January ends. The City of Falls Church will end the bonus gift card incentive on Jan. 31.
The Little City Gift Card was introduced on Small Business Saturday to support Falls Church's small businesses. The digital e-gift card can be used at participating City of Falls Church businesses.
For a limited time, the city has been funding bonus gift cards when residents purchase the Little City Gift Card. For example, a $30 gift card purchase will come with a $15 bonus gift card, $50 gift card will come with a $25 bonus gift card, and $100 gift card will come with a $50 bonus gift card.

After Jan. 31, Little City Gift Cards will not come with bonus gift cards.
The Little City Gift Card does not expire, but if a balance remains after 12 straight months of inactivity, $3 will be deducted per month from the balance. Bonus gift cards will expire 90 days after being issued.

The initiative was created by the Economic Development Office and Economic Development Authority to help with COVID-19 recovery and promote local spending. Funding is provided through the city's American Rescue Plan Act funds.
According to the city, more than $190,000 in gift cards and bonus cards have been redeemed at businesses as of mid-January.
