Loehmann's Plaza Name to Change in Falls Church Area
Federal Realty partnered with local community to come up with name that reflects the area.

Federal Realty Investment Trust announced Tuesday that Loehmann’s Plaza, located in the Falls Church area, has undergone a rebranding effort and will now be known as Graham Park Plaza, according to a news release.
Federal Realty partnered with the Broyhill Park Civic Association leaders to put out the request for submissions. Federal Realty selected “Graham Park” from the community’s submissions because of the two neighboring roads that border the center, Graham Road and Parkwood Court.
“We were excited for the opportunity to involve the community in the naming of Graham Park Plaza and believe the new name is an excellent reflection of the community. The collaboration with Federal Realty resulted in dozens of submissions and the residents of Broyhill Park can now take some pride and ownership in being part of this important process,” said Patricia R. Herrity, President, Broyhill Park civic association.

In May 2014, Federal Realty also added a 29,820 SF Stein Mart as a new anchor to the shopping center -- further
enhancing the overall shopping experience.
“A key part of our sales growth strategy is to increase our store base in targeted markets. Our management team
works aggressively to identify great locations like Graham Park Plaza, so we are always prepared to act when they
become available,” said Jay Stein, CEO of Stein Mart. “We are excited to be a part of the Falls Church community by providing another convenient location for our growing base of loyal Washington, D.C. area customers to shop.”
