Man Arrested For Hit-And-Run Injuring 4 In Falls Church

Police have arrested a suspect believed to have injured four people in a crash and fled from the scene.

FALLS CHURCH, VA—A man has been arrested for a hit-and-run crash that injured four people in Falls Church the previous weekend.

The crash happened Saturday, Jan. 6 around 9 p.m. at the North Washington Street and Columbia Street intersection. Police say the suspect's car went through a red light and hit a car in the intersection. The driver fled the scene going north on Washington Street into Arlington County.

The four people in the car struck by the fleeing driver were taken to the hospital. Two of the victims were adults and two were children. Their injuries were not serious.

Police obtained a warrant for arrest late Sunday, Jan. 14. Eskender Solomon, 23, of McLean was arrested the next day at 2:10 a.m.
