Man Fatally Shot In Bailey's Crossroads; Police Seek To Identify 3 'Persons Of Interest'

BAILEY'S CROSSROADS, VA — A man died Sunday after he was found shot in a Bailey's Crossroads apartment, according to police, who are seeking to identify three individuals considered "persons of interest" in the case.

Officers responded to the scene at Skyline Towers in the 5500 block of Seminary Road, authorities said shortly before 5 p.m., adding three men in their 20s were seen running in the area. Two of the men were Black with dark shirts and pants, and one was Hispanic with a white shirt and black pants, according to police.

Residents were asked to shelter in place for roughly 30 minutes, and the order was lifted as of about 5:30 p.m., police said. Law enforcement tweeted images of the trio around 7 p.m.
