On Tuesday February 25, the Sol Roots band presents a special Mardi Gras concert with special guest, world renowned saxophonist, Ron Holloway at the Legendary JV's in Northern Virginia. The Sol Roots band performs New Orleans style funk, raw soul, deep blues, heart-felt R&B, and energetic rock.

The Sol Roots band performs a mix of New Orleans funk, raw blues, energetic rock, deep grooves, and southern soul. Sol is a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist who has toured with many roots, funk, and blues legends around the world as a part of Music Maker Revue.

Sol Roots is proud to be a "Next Generation" Music Maker Relief Foundation artist and an official Home Grown Music Network artist. The Mardi Gras concert band will feature bass master TJ Turqman, master trumpet player Joe Brotherton, and superb drummer Vic Chase.

Sol Roots was awarded "Best Blues Act/Group" in 2019 by The Wammies / The MusicianShip.

The legendary JV's has been a fixture in the D.C. area for decades, showcasing some of the best in national, regional, and local rock, blues, soul, rockabilly, and more. JV's is located at 6666 Arlington Blvd Falls Church, VA.
