Students Evacuate Marshall High School For Odor: Fire Department

Firefighters responded to an odor believed to be from an HVAC unit. Students safely left the building.

FALLS CHURCH, VA — Marshall High School was evacuated as firefighters investigated an odor Wednesday afternoon.

Fairfax County Fire and Rescue responded to the school for a report of a burnt material smell. There is no fire, but crews believe the odor came from an HVAC unit. Firefighters are working to find the HVAC unit with the odor.

All students safely evacuated, according to the fire department.
