Metro Weekend Work To Impact Falls Church
Single tracking at West Falls Church and a station shutdown on the Silver Line will affect Metro service.

FALLS CHURCH, VA—If you'll be using Metro the weekend of Sept. 29-30, plan for extra time due to track work impacting service at East and West Falls Church.
On the Orange Line, trains will be single tracking at West Falls Church. Trains will operate every 12 minutes on Saturday. That timeframe will double to 24 minutes on Sunday.
Silver Line riders will see impacts from the Largo Town Center station shutdown. If you're traveling to that station, free shuttle bus service provided between Morgan Boulevard and Largo Town Center. Riders should plan for up to 15 minutes extra travel time around that station. Silver Line trains will run every 25 minutes between Wiehle-Reston East and Morgan Boulevard.

Metro's other lines will also see reduced service from single tracking. The only line running on a normal weekend schedule is the Green Line.
Looking ahead, Friday, work at the Reagan National Airport station will close it and Crystal City Station from Friday, Nov. 2 to Monday, Nov. 5. If you're traveling to the airport, plan ahead to find alternate transportation.
