Mice Droppings In Butter: Falls Church Restaurant Inspections
Health inspectors found mice droppings in butter at a Falls Church restaurant during recent inspections.

FALLS CHURCH, VA — Fairfax County regularly conducts health inspections for City of Falls Church and Fairfax County restaurants. The frequency of inspections on the type of food served and how it is prepared.
“In our experience, it is unrealistic to expect that a complex, full-service food operation can routinely avoid any violations,” states the Virginia Department of Health’s website.
Here are some of the violations from Falls Church inspections in late September. Among the violations was mouse droppings found in butter, fruit flies and more at Nha-Trang Restaurant. This disturbing violation was corrected during the inspection, and the restaurant must follow up with a pest control service.

violations: handsink used to store equipment (corrected)
Luzmila's Bolivian Restaurant: 809-E West Broad Street, Falls Church, VA 22046, last inspection: Sept. 25
violations: foods cold holding at improper temperatures, pots not sanitized after cleaning (both corrected)
Nha-Trang Restaurant: 6757 Wilson Bv #7 & #8, FALLS CHURCH, VA 22044, last inspection: Sept. 21
