Update: Police Find Missing Teen in Annandale
Samantha Esteves Almeida, 17, had disappeared from the Inova Medical Campus on Tuesday night, say Fairfax County police
ALEXANDRIA — The Fairfax County police announced Wednesday evening that they had located a teenager in the Annandale area who was reported missing the previous night.
Detectives found Samantha Esteves Almeida, 17, and interviewed her "to determine the circumstances surrounding her disappearance," the police said in a statement.
Previously, Almeida had been seen Tuesday night on the grounds of the Inova Fairfax Medical Campus. When she was reported missing, the police said they were concerned about her well-being because she may hsve been in need of a medication.

But on Wednesday evening, they said she was in good health.
