Mouse Droppings Spotted All Around: Falls Church Violations

FALLS CHURCH, VA — Fairfax County regularly conducts health inspections for City of Falls Church and county restaurants. The frequency of inspections on the type of food served and how it is prepared.

“In our experience, it is unrealistic to expect that a complex, full-service food operation can routinely avoid any violations,” states the Virginia Department of Health’s website.

Here are some of the violations from Falls Church inspections in early September. Among the violations were mouse droppings all around the facility at Hong Kong Palace Restaurant.

Hai Duong Restaurant: 6795 Wilson Boulevard, FALLS CHURCH, VA 22044, last inspection: Sept. 6

violations: potential cross contamination of raw and ready to eat foods, pork broth not properly cooled within two hours (both corrected), mold inside ice bin

Hong Kong Palace Restaurant: 6387 Seven Corners Center, Falls Church, VA 22044, last inspection: Sept. 1
