VIRGINIA — The second weekend of June brings numerous festivals, continuing Pride celebrations and plenty of other events around Northern Virginia and D.C.

Pride Month, a month-long celebration to promote LGBTQ+ culture and rights, continues throughout June. Some notable events this weekend include Capital Pride Parade, Capital Pride Block Party, Washington Blade Pride on the Pier and Fireworks Show and Capital Pride Festival & Concert.

There are plenty of big festivals to attend such as the Tinner Hill Music Festival in Falls Church, Taste of Woodbridge in Woodbridge, Army Birthday Festival in Fort Belvoir, Manassas Arts and Musical Festival in Manassas, Mount Vernon Summerfest, Mount Vernon and Taste of Peru.
