Pair Of Burglaries Reported In Merrifield Area

A business and apartment were robbed in nearby incidents around the Merrifield area.

FALLS CHURCH, VA—A pair of burglaries were reported Monday in the Merrifield area.

Around 11 a.m. Monday, an unknown suspect took computer equipment from an apartment at the 9400 block of Lee Highway. He is described as black, about 6 foot tall, with a muscular build, short, dark hair and a mustache. He was wearing a green jacket and carried a black backpack.

Mr. Tire on Dorr Avenue also reported a robbery that happened between July 8 and July 10. The store reports someone broke in and stole and undisclosed amount of cash from the register. A suspect description or video footage is not immediately available.
