Person Struck By Train At East Falls Church Metro
BREAKING: A person jumped in front of a train at the East Falls Church station and went to the hospital in critical condition.

ARLINGTON, VA—A person has been struck by a train at the East Falls Church Metro Wednesday afternoon, according to Metro Transit Police.
Police believe the person jumped in front of the train intentionally. The victim has been rescued from under the train and sent to the hospital in critical condition, according to the Arlington Fire Department.
As of 4:30 p.m., Orange and Silver Line trains are no longer single tracking between Ballston-MU and East Falls Church. Riders should anticipate delays in both directions.

Road blockages were temporarily in place around the station entrance due to police and fire activity.
