Police Seek Details On Dog Bite Incident In Falls Church

The man will need rabies shots if he cannot locate the dog's owner.

FALLS CHURCH, VA—A dog bite incident in Falls Church on Thursday, Feb. 1 has resulted in a call for information.

Police say a dog bit a man jogging on the "Tiger Trail" in the 600 block of S. Oak Street behind Thomas Jefferson Elementary School and Howard E. Herman Park. The dog bit him in the leg as he passed the dog and owner on the trail.

The dog is described as a Labrador Retriever, or similar, with a brownish fur and red leash. The dog's owner is described as a white male, around 12 to 13 years old.

The victim get shots for rabies if he cannot get in contact with the dog's owner.
