Falls Church City Public Schools Make Weather Call For Jan. 4

Falls Church City Public Schools again will make weather-related cancellations on Tuesday, Jan. 4.

FALLS CHURCH, VA — For the second day in a row, Falls Church City Public School has canceled school on Tuesday as winter weather affects the region.

There will be no virtual or in-person learning on Tuesday. Along with the closure of Falls Church City Public Schools, school system offices and daycare will be closed.

The school system attributed Tuesday's school closures to road conditions, power outages and the inability to clear parking lots, "plus the anticipated morning problems with below freezing temperatures overnight impacting travel."
