Senior Missing From Falls Church Located: Police

FALLS CHURCH, VA—Falls Church Police are searching for a missing man with Alzheimer's. Virginia State Police have issued a senior alert.

Tam Nguyen, 73, of Florida was visiting family in the 300 block of James Street in Falls Church when he went missing. He was last seen in Falls Church around 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30. He is without his Alzheimer's medication and may need medical attention. His disappearance is believed to be a threat to his health and safety.

Police say Nguyen drove away and could be in Northern Virginia. As of 4 p.m., police believe a taxi dropped him off at New Guinea Road and Sideburn Road in Burke. His vehicle was towed and he has no money, so he is likely on foot.

Nguyen is described as 5 foot 6, around 135 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. He was last seen wearing a jacket and blue jeans. He is believed to be driving a Tan Toyota Sienna with Virginia license plate VRL-7214.
