FALLS CHURCH, VA — The new operator of the senior living part of the West Falls development is moving forward with a name for the community and target opening date.

The 15-story senior living community will be named The Reserve at Falls Church, according to developer Hoffman & Associates and senior living operator Experience Senior Living. It will be located at the West Falls development being constructed at Route 7 and Haycock Road.

The more than 200-unit community will have independent living, assisted living and memory care as well as amenities like a spa with a saltwater pool and fitness center, on-site restaurants, a sky bar, maker space for artists, concierge floors, and electric vehicle transportation services.

Experience Senior Living was presented to City Council as the new senior living operator in September after Trammell Crow stepped away from the senior living part of the project. That led to a delay in the timeline for the senior living part of the development. While the first phase of the West Falls development is expected to be ready in fall 2024, the developer expects The Reserve at Falls Church senior living community to open in the fourth quarter of 2026.

"Experience Senior Living is excited to become a part of West Falls. Our mission is for everyone who experiences The Reserve at Falls Church to feel a deep sense of connection and purpose through community," said Phill Barklow, president of Experience Senior Living. "Our residents will have unprecedented access to our most distinguished brand in a thriving community environment with activated green space, retail and entertainment at their doorstep."
