Residents can learn about a proposed development with senior living during an upcoming walking tour.

FALLS CHURCH, VA — A proposed development with senior living and retail in Falls Church will be discussed during a walking tour next Monday, July 10. City Council is scheduled to have a work session without action on the proposal that night.
The Quinn and Homestretch development is a proposal at 350 and 360 S Washington St. and 303 S Maple Ave. Quinn Enterprises, a family-run auction business at the site, is leading the proposal. Nonprofit Homestretch, another building on the site, is also involved in the proposal.
According to the city's website, the proposal is centered around 226 senior living units, including 140 independent living units, 55 assisted living units and 31 memory care units. There would also be retail and restaurant uses, space for the Tinner Hill Heritage Foundation, medical office, 292 parking garage spots, electric vehicle charging stations, historic markers, green spaces and public plazas, and a building height up to 115 feet.
