FALLS CHURCH, VA — The City of Falls Church is canceling the annual Falls Church Festival on Sept. 12 and Farm Day on Oct. 10 amid the ongoing pandemic.

"We are committed to helping our resident, visitor, and business community stay safe," said Danny Schlitt, Director of Recreation and Parks. "We don't see a way to safely hold large crowd events like the Falls Church Festival and Farm Day."

Other major events like the Memorial Day Parade and Fourth of July fireworks were previously canceled. The Tinner Hill Music Fest has also been moved to June 2021.
