Sheriff's Vehicle Fire Leads To Arrest In Falls Church

The sheriff's cruiser was totaled, but there was no damage to City Hall, according to Falls Church Police.

FALLS CHURCH, VA — A person is facing charges for setting a sheriff's vehicle fire in Falls Church Monday.

Falls Church Police and the Arlington Fire Department responded to the vehicle fire at City Hall around 6 a.m. Firefighters put out the blaze, and no one was injured. There were no damages to City Hall. The vehicle, identified as a cruiser belonging to the sheriff's office, was totaled.

An officer stopped a person for questioning and arrested him. Christian Davis, age 23, of Falls Church was charged with arson. Additional charges are pending.
