  • Holiday Pop-Up Shops at the Weekly Farmers Market: Through December 19, a select group of your crafters, artists, and merchants from our Annual Holiday Craft Show will have pop-up shops at the Farmers Market. Our Craft Show is cancelled, but this is a way to still support the small businesses.
  • City shops and restaurants have taken measures to do their part to stop the spread of COVID-19 by applying Governor Northam's Forward Virginia reopening plan. Look for businesses with this flyer in their window. It shows that they:

    • Require face coverings for staff and customers
    • Provide hand sanitizer for customers
    • Require social distancing
    • Require staff to frequently wash hands and disinfect high-touch surfaces
    • Closed common areas where feasible
    • Require sick staff to stay home
    • Enforce occupancy limits
    • Follow all industry-specific guidance
