Sol Roots and the band create a unique blend of energetic rock, raw blues, and funk, all delivered with deep soul.


On Sunday June 14 the Sol Roots band performs at JV’s
 in Falls Church VA. The show is FREE ADMISSION. This group features guitarist and vocalist Sol, with drummer extraordinaire Vic Chase and tasteful bassist Andreas Holmstrom (has worked with Adam Smirnoff of Lettuce, 
& Robert Randolph band).


JVs is a classic roadhouse venue that has been showcasing the best in national, regional, and local rock, soul, blues, and rockabilly performers for decades. JV’s is a fixture in the Washington DC area music scene and has recently been expanded to hold larger acts and to accommodate more music fans.


Sol Roots has performed at many premier festivals and venues across the east coast US, and his band has shared the stage with acts such as Dumpstaphunk, Booker T Jones, Soulive, Eric Lindell, Shemekia Copeland, Jon Cleary, Walter “Wolfman” Washington, Jackie Greene, and more.


Paying homage to the greats, Sol seeks to push musical boundaries and bring Roots Music to a new generation of listeners.


The Sol Roots group is an official Home Grown Music Network band. Sol Roots is also a ”Next Generation” Music Maker Relief Foundation artist.
