Starbucks Threats, Business Vandalized: Falls Church Crime Report
Falls Church Police responded to threats made at a Starbucks and other incidents within the last week.

FALLS CHURCH, VA—Falls Church Police handled more notable incidents than usual within the last week, from assaults to threats at a Starbucks.
Police had been called to the Starbucks at 1218 West Broad Street around 5:52 p.m. The suspect reportedly was approaching customers and threatening physical harm. Police identified the suspect, but a victim declined to press charges.

Aggravated Assault, 935 W Broad St (Taco Bell parking lot), Nov 26, 7:12 PM, police
responded to a report of an assault in progress. Following an investigation, police
arrested Douglas Smith, 55, of McLean, VA, for Simple Assault and Strangulation.

Burglary - Commercial, 1055-B W Broad St (Babylon Market), between 8:30 PM on
Nov 27 and 10:20 AM on Nov 28, unknown suspect(s) forced entry to the business and
removed items of value. Investigation continues.
