Stolen Cash Register Found In Creek: Falls Church Police

Someone had broken the door of the Super Chicken and stolen the cash register.

A stolen cash register was recovered in a creek after a break-in at the Super Chicken on South Washington Street, Falls Church Police say.

The restaurant was broken into sometime between 9:30 p.m. Monday, April 9 and 6:16 a.m. Tuesday, April 10. The suspect broke a glass door to get in. Fairfax County Police had found the register in the creek. Police did not say how much money was stolen.

No suspect description or surveillance footage was available. Police will continue to investigate.
