Teen Charged With DUI Manslaughter After Fatal Crash With Motorcyclist
A 57-year-old man from Falls Church has been identified as the victim in the crash.
JAMES CITY COUNTY, VA – A 16-year-old boy is facing multiple charges, including driving under the influence and manslaughter, after a crash that killed a motorcyclist Sunday morning.
According to James City County police, officers responded to a crash involving a vehicle and a motorcycle on the 5800 block of Riverview Road around 5:56 a.m., where a motorcyclist had been struck by a car traveling in the opposite direction.
The motorcyclist was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. WTKR and others have identified the motorcyclist as 57-year-old Gilbert Andrea Allen of Falls Church. Investigators said Allen was wearing a helmet when he was struck.

The teen was not injured in the crash and is in police custody. He has been charged with DUI manslaughter, DUI, unauthorized use of a vehicle, driving after illegally consuming alcohol (under 21), underage possession of alcohol, reckless driving, and failure to maintain control of a vehicle.
