Thompson Italian To Open In Falls Church

FALLS CHURCH, VA—A couple that have been part of Italian restaurants in New York City will bring their expertise to a new restaurant in Falls Church.

Thompson Italian is expected to open in May at 124 North Washington Street, the former Argia's space, Eater DC reported. Chef Gabe Thompson plans to have pastas with seasonal ingredients, while pastry chef Katherine Thompson will make items like cannoli, gelato and sorbets.

The couple came to the area when Gabe Thompson became chef at RPM Italian in DC, while Katherine Thompson is originally from the DC area.
