Three-Day Blues Festival Returns To Falls Church
Northern Virginia's only three-day music festival is coming up. Get ready for blues performances all over Falls Church.

FALLS CHURCH, VA -- The 24th annual Tinner Hill Blues Festival returns to Falls Church next weekend (June 9-11), and tickets are now available.
Sponsored by the City of Falls Church and other community organizations, the festival brings the blues all over town throughout the weekend. Plus, it boast the title of the only three-day music festival in Northern Virginia.

Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the gate. Leashed dogs are welcome. VIP tickets are $30 in advance and $35 at the gate, and they include free non-alcoholic drinks. Platinum VIP tickets are $250 in advance for two people and include meals, festival T-shirts, four drink tickets, free non-alcoholic drinks and reserved seating under a tent. Children 12 and under are free with a paying adult.
But if the festival seems far away and you're having the blues, there's an event to get you in the spirit this weekend. The Nothing But the Blues, art show opening is Friday, June 2 from 6 p.m. - 9 pm at Art and Frame of Falls Church (205 West Jefferson Street). The event will feature live music and awards, and exhibitions will stay on display until June 30th.

Finish the weekend off at the place where it all began. Bring your picnic blankets and lawn chairs. The Carter Singers, The Barbour Travelers, Susan R. Carter, and guitarist Damon Foreman are performing. There will also be a fancy hat contest with prizes. This event is free. There will be free lemonade and sweet tea and food for sale. Catering will be provided by the Fisherman Cafe of Second Baptist Church.
