Thrift Store Peeper In Merrifield Charged By Police

Fairfax County Police believe there may be more victims after a peeping incident inside a women's bathroom.

MERRIFIELD, VA — A thrift store bathroom peeping incident Monday led to charges for a man in Merrifield.

Police were called to the Unique thrift store at 2956 Gallows Rd., Falls Church, around 5:30 p.m. Monday. According to police, a suspect had followed a woman into the bathroom and pushed open the door when she was in a stall. When the victim yelled for him to leave, the suspect went to the entrance of the store.

Police took the suspect into custody at the store. Demetrius Anderson, 33, of Washington, D.C., was served with outstanding warrants as well as peeping and public intoxication. He is being held without bond at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center.
